How To Keep Your Clothes Wrinkle Free

Posted by julius johnson on

When packing a suitcase, it is very easy for the clothes to get wrinkled. There is a lot of clothing being shoved into a small space. These are some tips on how to keep clothes from wrinkling when packing.

Rolling the Clothes

Rolling up the cloths is recommended for most kinds of cotton, pants, and jeans. To fold pants, fold one leg onto the other. Begin at the ankle and roll the pants up, making sure they are tight. To fold tops, fold the sleeves onto the back of the shirt so they will form a rectangle. Roll the shirt up tightly, starting at the bottom and going to the top. This will help prevent wrinkles and save space in the suitcase.

Packing Delicates

When packing clothing made from delicate materials, it is best not to fold them. Put the garments flat on the suitcase and allow half of the garment to lay over the edges for the time being. Put clothing that is more durable on top of them. This will act as a cushion. The other half of the delicate fabrics should then be placed over this clothing.

Plastic wrap has been shown to reduce friction which can lead to wrinkles. Important clothing can be packed in a dry-cleaning bag to keep it looking fresh, and to keep the wrinkles away.
